About Breanna

Breanna Christenson has been a practicing and certified neuromuscular massage therapist in California for the last 9 years and has been a certified through the National Board for the last 2 years. Following her intuition to help and support others has fueled her pursuit of educating clients about the soreness and pain they are experiencing. Shortly after becoming a National Board-Certified massage therapist, Breanna entered the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Massage Therapy through Siena Heights University. Outside of her practice, Breanna just celebrated her 5-year anniversary teaching at National Holistic Institute out of the Santa Rosa Campus. Her goal is to work with each client to establish a nourishing environment to assess and distinguish between myofascial pain or dysfunction, contrary to having an injury, and determining the modality most effective to address the issues.

A Sonoma County native, Breanna's early life of competitive sports and athletics began her enthusiasm for pursuing further understanding of kinesiology, functional movements, and the human body. In 2011, Breanna set out through her educational journey into massage therapy at the National Holistic Institute Petaluma Campus (now located in Santa Rosa!) and decided to further deepen her knowledge by continuing into NHI’s Advanced Neuromuscular Program. While at NHI, Breanna externed within Sonoma State University's Sports Medicine Department and continued that relationship for many seasons after. Always in the quest to grasp further understanding, Breanna graduated from NHI with over 1300 hours of education and completed her associate degree from Santa Rosa Junior College.

Throughout her experience, Breanna has seen how injuries and stress from daily life can leave you sitting on the sidelines. Her refreshing therapeutic massage is a great tool to prevent injuries by prolonging muscle flexibility, maintaining the immune system at an optimal state of balance, and increasing the speed of recovery by sustaining healthy tissues. Improvements to immune health and a noticeable increase in an overall sense of well-being are just a few of the results you’ll feel after each session. Breanna is excited to work with weekend warriors, those who have sustained new or have chronic injuries, as well as people who are just looking to escape and experience some relaxation in their day. Using massage as the invigorating, therapeutic tool that it will generate homeostasis at your convenience. Personalized massage sessions keep your muscles healthy, improve your immune system to create a peaceful balance throughout your body!
